A lovely crypt variety with rusty brown venation and blush to the leaves. This is a mid-sized variety, comparable in height to C. becketii or C. wendtii. Like other crypts it is low-light tolerant but stronger light will bring out the best colour. Crypts are also prone to melting back when introduced to new tanks; Don't worry! your plant isn't dead, leave the roots undisturbed. In short order it should begin growing back anew.
